Talent Acquisition Manager

The Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for resourcing qualified medical professionals to work for the Medical Services division to meet our customer SLA’s.

This position will ensure that the recruitment is followed accurately and Medical Services has a sufficient high quality talent pool across various disciplines.

The post holder will live company values and effectively communicate with stakeholders over the telephone, email and face to face.


  • Identify and contact relevant medical professionals
  • Rapidly build strong relationships with candidates to engage them with Medical Services
  • Ensure all candidates short-listed meet compliance standards of MSI compliance standards
  • Identify and propose monthly targets and KPI’s to manager and once agreed, meet these


  • Professionally represent the team and the brand
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of various disciplines to enable credible conversations with medical professionals
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of various candidate markets and advise which channels are most effective for optimal resourcing
  • Commit to develop and meet personal objectives to support the business to meet it’s business targets
  • Take responsibility for own professional development

  • Ensure talent pool has the quantity and quality of medical professionals to meet rota management demands
  • Using all tools available (including external job boards) identify quality candidates and complete application process
  • Ask all candidates for referrals
  • Populate and code database with all candidate contact details
  • Ensure all identified candidates have the relevant accreditation
  • Plan and attend regular candidate open days
  • Ensure effective communication with Operations to meet and exceed client expectations


  • Ensure and assist compliance team to clear new candidates so Operation team needs are met
  • Update Influence with all Candidate activity and maintain current record keeping
  • Prepare for weekly 1:1s and ensure all relevant management information is obtained


  • Develop close working relationship with Operations team to ensure their staffing needs are met
  • Maintain a successful reciprocal relationship with BD team ensuring client and candidates leads are shared when opportunities are identified
  • Proactively participate in weekly agenda’d 1:1’s with line manager
  • Positively contribute and occasionally lead team meetings
  • Provide effective cover for team members when they are absent from the office ensuring clients and candidates receive a business as usual service
  • Champion business improvement and people development initiatives
  • Share expert knowledge of candidate market and provide guidance and support to team members
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the division and organisation

  • Occasional UK travel

The Talent Acquisition Manager is accountable for:

  • Meeting personal resourcing targets consistent with level of seniority
  • Maintaining excellent customer satisfaction levels
  • Ensuring the Medical Services team attracts sufficient quality candidates to meet it’s Business Plan
