Major Travel PLC is a long haul tailor made travel company that has traded for over 40 years. This role is for experienced travel industry staff where the earning potential is over £45,000 per year.
We are looking for reservations staff to join one of 5 teams:
- USA and Canada
- North Africa and Middle East
- Far East
- Indian Ocean
- Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands
As a tailor made reservations consultant you will collaboratively build the clients’ itinerary and use your knowledge of the product area to provide suggestions and ideas to maximise the clients’ holiday experience. You will book flights, hotels, car hire, tours, rail and excursions using our state of the art Concorde booking platform. Knowledge of Amadeus or Galileo will be beneficial, but not essential.
We offer a basic salary of between £24,000 - £32,000 which is determined based on your previous experience. In addition, we offer commission at 10% of the net revenue you generate. Typical multi centre itineraries cost over £2,500 per person and with a minimum of 2 people per booking, the earning potential is substantial.
If you have the right skills, we would reasonably expect you to earn well over £45,000 per year!
You must have worked for a minimum of 2 years within a travel agency, tour operator or corporate travel management company within a reservations role. If you do not have this experience, we will not be able to consider your application.
