We are currently working with a national Financial Planning company to recruit for a Training and Competency Supervisor to join their team.
The role is to oversee, guide, monitor, deliver and report on the Training and Competence [T&C] schemes for the multiple firms in the group. The role extends to provide that the firm's training and development needs are identified and where practical delivered either through the services available in house or by external training facilities.
The role includes oversight and assurance that the T&C schemes as operated by the firms are compliant with the requirements of any appropriate regulator.
Manage the Training and Development [T&D] team ensuring that the firm's objectives and culture are embedded in the behaviour of the team:
Ensure that all T&C schemes are current in terms of reflecting the needs of any appropriate regulator:
Report to the Board and Audit and Risk Committee [ARC] as to the status of and adherence to the T&C schemes and highlight any matters that need Board or ARC action:
Communicate findings and actions to senior management and to report to the ARC;
Recommend improvements and changes to the schemes to ensure they remain fit for purpose:
Support the business with an appropriate training and development structure
Candidates need to be happy with travel between Chelmsford and London.
