Systems Engineer / Technician Engineer / IT Systems Engineer

Systems Engineer with previous experience working in a similar role and ability to work on own initiative is needed by our client, an award-winning independent professional services company, to be based in Skipton (North Yorkshire).

About the Role
As their Systems Engineer, your role will involve the following:

  • Supporting Senior Systems Engineer with planning, preparing, operating & maintaining the survey vehicles and equipment
  • Representing the company in the UK and abroad on specific projects
  • Operating the vehicle and equipment as required (including project work outside the UK)
  • Planning maintenance and installation schedules
  • Installing, servicing & maintaining a range of video surveying systems (e.g. video survey equipment and ancillary electrical equipment)
  • Identifying & repairing electrical faults
  • Undertaking research and development projects
  • Participating in product development relating to the survey vehicles and equipment
  • Submitting reports related to the survey vehicles and equipment when required
  • Downloading & transferring survey data from vehicle to computer
  • Carrying others duties as required (commensurate with position & salary)

About You

  • Previous experience working in a similar role
  • Ability to work on own initiative

What's On Offer

  • Salary of £22,000 - £25,000 per annum
