As a Systems Engineer, day to day you'll make an impact by supporting the organisation's operation; leading a team of accomplished engineers through pro-active monitoring, incident management and issue investigation and resolution.
You'll drive the Change and Release management processes to ensure continuous high availability, implementing CI/CD pipelines to facilitate critical deployments at scale. As a Systems Engineer you'll work on diverse projects using contemporary and emerging technologies; migration to the Cloud (AWS) and the creation of monitoring and alert systems using Splunk and Truesight.

*You have strong DevOps engineering experience
*You have demonstrable Windows and / or Linux OS experience
*You have notable scripting experience with Python (also consider PowerShell or Java coding)
*You have experience with process automation, CI/CD, Jenkins or Chef
*You're familiar with open source monitoring tools such as Splunk and Truesight
*You're a positive team player, keen to work collaboratively, share ideas and mentor junior team members
*Desirable: experience with finance systems or other highly transactional systems
