Sheridan Maine are seeking an experienced Systems Accountant to join a leading, global, innovator in their respective field, based near Bournemouth.

This role will play a fundamental role in providing the finance team and the wider business with a robust, end-to-end architecture to drive an efficient reporting processes and create significant improvements in Management Information. As a Systems Accountant your main responsibilities will be owning the financial systems within the Business Unit (including but not limited to Access, Sage and Cognos), as well as ensuring the appropriate interfaces with operating systems and business partnering with IT. You will maintain the overall finance system and keep the finance team up to date on relevant system changes and upgrades. A key part of this role will also be acting as a finance lead for the upcoming implementation of a new ERP across the Finance function, as well as other Group-wide systems and process initiatives.

As a CIMA / ACCA / ACA Qualified or Part-Qualified, Systems Accountant you will have excellent interpersonal skills, a sound understanding of existing systems and processes, demonstrable accounting experience, intellectual curiosity, strong excel/modelling and analytical skills combined with a vision of continuous improvement and an ability to engage key stakeholders across all levels of business.
