We are looking for a FP&A Finance Manager to lead the financial planning and analysis for one of our London Market insurerance clients who are building a new Syndicate FP&A team with a focus on business partnering and managing the outsourced syndicate finance activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling for the syndicate, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals.
- Manage outsourced finance activities, liaising with external stakeholders such as the members agent.
- Prepare financial reports and insights, supporting decision-making and ensuring compliance with Lloyd’s requirements.
- Partner with business teams to monitor financial performance, providing analysis and recommendations for improvements.
- Lead process improvements to enhance financial reporting, automation, and data accuracy.
- Support systems development projects, ensuring finance requirements are met and optimising business processes.
- Foster a high-performance team culture, mentoring colleagues and promoting knowledge-sharing and innovation.
Skills & Experience Required
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Expertise in Excel and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- In-depth understanding of insurance accounting, especially within the Lloyd’s market.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders.
- Flexible and resilient, able to adapt to shifting priorities while ensuring high-quality outcomes
