Temporary Switchboard Operator, West End Glasgow
Your new company
A successful public sector organisation, based in the West End of Glasgow, is looking for an experienced Switchboard Operator to join their busy team on a temporary basis. Your normal hours of work will be Monday-Friday 9-5pm.
Your new role
You'll first point of contact for all clients and customers, ensuring they receive an excellent customer service experience over the phone. As part of your role you will also be operating a busy switchboard, screening and transferring calls. You will also be performing basic data entry and updating the company database. Answering email enquiries will also be a core part of your role.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous receptionist or switchboard experience is essential. You'll need to be polished and professional with an excellent telephone manner. You'll need to be comfortable working in a busy office environment and be comfortable prioritising tasks in order to meet important deadlines. As you'll be updating the company database accuracy and a great eye for detail will also be required.
