Sweet & Beverage Taste - Collection Manager

This in turn allows customers to develop the unique and innovative products they want, that can be delivered quickly to market and can differentiate their brand in the market place. The Centre facilitates our customers and employees expertise in a way that makes it easy to collaborate and deliver innovative, integrated solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage the overall Sweet and Beverage Taste technology portfolio in terms of complexity , rationalisation , lifecycle , and margin expectations
  • Develop , maintain , and promote a Collection ( subset of Portfolio) as the first choice submission for Opportunities
  • In partnership with Technology Marketing communicate the Collection benefits to EUM teams and customers
  • Provide technology expertise and product selection to EUM teams and customers
  • Ensure product testing in application for technical and sensory performance
  • In partnership with Technology Marketing , EUMs ,and Development identify Collection gaps
  • In partnership with Development and Innovation ensure products are developed to fill Collection gaps
  • Work across all Europe Sweet and Beverage taste sites ( Runcorn , Grasse, Mozzo) to ensure sub technologies from each site are included in the Collection
  • Understand competitive landscape technology offerings
  • Support Business Development leads on project management and client engagement

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Technical qualification in Chemistry or Food Science
  • Flavour industry experience in technical or product management role
  • Good understanding of sensory science
  • Good understanding of food and beverage applications
  • Strong business acumen and data management skills
  • Passion for food and beverage
  • Presentation skills
  • Willingness for regular travel to other Taste sites
