My client is seeking an SMT Machine Operator for PCB assembly/build.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate equipment including DEK screen print machine, pick and place machine, reflow solder oven, and AOI.
  • Hand solder Circuit Card Assemblies to IPC 610 & 001 standards.
  • Perform fine soldering under magnification.
  • Assemble surface mount and through-hole components.
  • Carry out standard assembly activities, adhering to procedures, safety, and timescales.
  • Ensure efficient workflow and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations.

Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Prior circuit card assembly knowledge.
  • Dexterity for fine work and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret layouts.
  • ESD training and flexible shift availability.

Desirable:

  • IPC 610 certification or training.
  • Experience with fine soldering under magnification and surface mount assembly.
