Centre 404 is a friendly, growing charity with an excellent reputation for providing high quality support and services to people with learning disabilities and their families in North London.
We are looking for a self-motivated, organised and approachable individual to provide information, advice and support to parent/carers of both children and adults with learning disabilities and/or Autism. In line with our main objectives, specific areas of support will be around:

Half of the role is dedicated to offering support to family carers aged 65+ and referring them onto other caseworkers where necessary, as well as developing and increasing older carers’ involvement and participation in activities and groups.
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and experience of providing advice, support and advocacy services to parents/carers of any age or adults with learning disabilities and/or Autism. The post-holder will be able to prioritise a varied caseload and have experience of disability related welfare benefits and income maximisation, in addition to completing assessments and associated paperwork in line with current legislation.
Centre 404 is dedicated to staff development and supervision and we will provide a detailed induction and on-going training and support.
