Our client is the UK's leading dementia charity. They provide information and support, improve care, fund research, and create lasting change for people affected by dementia. 

Position: Supporter Journey and Retention Manager – Sports Events 
Location: Flexible across England Wales and Northern Ireland 
Contract type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: 35 per week 
Salary: From £35,747 per annum (actual) to £39,742 per annum (actual) - depending on location 

Closing date: Midday on Thursday 12th July 
Interview date: First round Friday 20th July 
Second round Friday 27th July 

About the role: 

They are looking for an experienced Supporter Journey & Retention manager to help lead and treks, swims and skydives; to grow their fundraising income and participant engagement. 

This role will develop and strategically project manage the sports events stewardship programme for new and existing supporters across multichannel campaigns, including digital, social, print and telephone ensuring improved payer rates, increase in average gift and continued lifetime support across the Society. You will also lead on the relationship with partner agencies who work with them to meet these outcomes. 

About you: 

You will need to be enthusiastic, creative and highly organised. You will be used to working across a variety of projects and be able to prioritise your workload effectively. You will be experienced in organising and promoting events within the charity sector. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and successful team wand help them to grow event income in the coming years. 

As a member of the Fundraising Management Team you will have a role to play in the wider Fundraising team, championing Sport Events and working together to build long term support of their event participants.
