Ensure outstanding supporter care is delivered by processing donations & responding to donation related supporter queries accurately & efficiently in line with donor care policies. Coding & registering fundraising pages from online fundraising platforms.
*Data entry of income that has been generated by all (excluding legacies) fundraising teams.
*Code and register fundraising pages from Just Giving and Virgin Money Giving accurately and timely.
*Write and send personalised thank you letters in response to donations received from supporters
*Respond to supporter donation related enquiries (including complaints). Write and send personalised correspondence and supply relevant information to supporters
*Ensure accurate records maintained on supporter database, and update these wherever possible, in line with relevant data quality guidelines
*Establish and maintain good professional working practices across FR teams and finance in order to deliver required standards of customer care.
*General office duties: photocopying, filing, scanning etc
*Seek opportunities to maximise income through promotion of Gift Aid in all supporter contact
*Be familiar with and adhere to all relevant company policies and procedures at all times
*Undertake additional responsibilities as required by manager
*Basic understanding through minimal experience or training
*Good working knowledge and ability in simple context
*Sound knowledge and ability in variety of contexts
*Expert knowledge and ability to provide coaching/consultancy
1.Ensuring consistency, quality and efficient: data capture of supporter information, query resolution and personalised thank you letters
*Education or professional qualification
oGood standard of general education, including GCSE English and Maths, or equivalent. Degree or equivalent (desired).
*Legislation and policy
oGift Aid legislation.
oMacmillan donor care policy.
oFull understanding of Gift Aid regulations and tax efficient charitable giving.
*Tools, techniques and methods
oCommunication and working closely with others in a team environment.
Essential Experience Required:
1.Working within a supporter or customer care environment
2.Working within a team environment
3.Using IT systems including customer databases
4.High volume data processing with high degree of accuracy
