Support Workers

Posted 15 May by Randstad Care

Support workers make a real difference to people's lives every single day and we are looking for people to join our team to do this rewarding work.

We have a number of clients that need support workers in residential and supported living settings across Exeter and the surrounding areas. You could be working with adults with mental health issues or learning difficulties. Alternatively you could be working with young people with challenging behaviour. One thing for sure is that every day will be different!

The range of duties will be varied but could include proving company and companionship, accompanying service users on trips out and about in the community, cleaning, cooking, personal care of service users. Some of our shifts you will be working with others, other times you could be providing 1:1 support.

We have a variety of different shifts available, but the more flexible you can be, the better. We need cover across weekdays, evenings and weekends.

We are looking for people with paid experience within the care sector with an empathetic and caring nature. You should have an excellent work ethic and be willing to undertake training. Ideally you will have your own transport.

Benefits of working for Randstad:

  • Weekly pay
  • 28 days paid annual leave (pro rata)
  • Flexible shifts across weekdays, nights, evenings and weekends
  • Pension
  • Full or part time hours to suit your lifestyle
