Support Workers Required for Night Shifts

We Require Support Workers to work Flexible Night Shifts.

The Job Role Involves:

  • Providing quality care and support
  • Enabling patients with mental health illnesses to receive a truly integrated and holistic approach to their treatment, regardless of complexity or severity
  • Working for one of the UK's leading providers of independent specialist secure and step-down care across the UK
  • Working for a highly specialist hospital where patients requiring a low secure care setting can maximise value from therapeutic interventions
  • Helping to produce excellent recovery results for patients and seeing how they are able to progress
  • Working with adolescent service users from age 12 upwards
  • Working in an environment where there are 35 beds within the wards; caring for people with acute and complex mental illnesses, personality disorders, learning disabilities, neuro development disorders, ADHD & emotional, behavioural and social difficulties
  • Working collaboratively with patients and families

The Skills/ Qualifications You Will Need:

  • Mental Health Awareness

  • Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adolescents

  • Challenging Behaviour

  • Conflict Resolution and Verbal De-Escalation

  • Health and Safety

  • Fire Safety

  • First Aid

  • General and Relational Security

  • Infection Control

  • Food and Hand Hygiene

  • Background experience in Health and Social Care or Mental Health Services
