Support Workers (Night & Day Staff)
£8.16 - £8.93 per hour (plus night premium)

Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for a number of Support Workers to join their night and day teams on a permanent basis within their Residential & Respite Home in Dartington for children and young people with learning disabilities, many of whom have complex needs.
You will be part of a busy, dynamic staff team who are committed to looking after the children and young people who both live in and visit the residential and respite setting. You will be joining a staff team who are enthusiastic and keen to make a difference, encouraging the children and young people to achieve and reach their potential by supporting them in their daily lives.
The staff team engage with children and young people by sharing experiences such as activities and outings, as well as by promoting boundaries, structures and routines to help them succeed in their future lives.
Interested? Ideally you will have previous experience in this type of environment and hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent). Though this qualification is by no means essential, a willingness to gain the level 3 diploma within two years is required.

The Residential & Respite Home has recently been rated as Good by OFSTED and, as such, our client continues to be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. They expect all staff to share this commitment.
