Are you looking for a fulfilling role in care, helping customers live independently, in our residential extra care scheme?
We are looking for full-time & part-time support workers, with or without care experience, for various set shifts (7am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm or 10am - 7pm), based in our residential extra care scheme in Ickenham. We’ll train and support you, so you can confidently deliver a great service. Within our Extra Care schemes we support the elderly, physically disabled, learning disabled, individuals with dementia, challenging behaviour, mental health and complex health needs. You’ll carry out care and support work with the sensitivity needed to preserve the dignity, privacy, choice, independence, fulfilment and rights of the people who use our services. You don’t need to be a driver, as you will be based at one residential scheme in Ickenham.
You’ll be helping your customers with care and support work, such as;
- Getting up and ready for the day
- Getting ready for bed
- Participating in group activities
And practical tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, tidying, meal preparation and cooking, doctor’s appointments and shopping.

Every customer is different, so the care and support that you provide will depend on your customer’s needs, which will be assessed and regularly monitored by our quality officers.
You’ll be fully supported by our management teams and free training and supervision, to help you confidently deliver care. We have a career development plan and the opportunity to study in-house qualifications in Care. Carewatch support all of our staff in their ability to excel and achieve and are always looking for Care Workers who want to progress further in the future.
This role is subject to a DBS check and you will need to provide proof of your right to reside and work in the UK.
