Our client is a 20 year old male, with learning disability and autism spectrum disorder. Our client is not aggressive towards staff or members of the public, however he is very energetic, hence he will require a 1:1 support in the day centre and 2:1 support when accessing the community.
The preferred support worker, should have experience providing support with similar clients with learning disability/learning difficulty and should also be a car driver (essential), as sometimes it will require the support worker to transport the client to some activities within Essex.
The potential support worker, should also be able to swim, as sometimes, an activity involves taking our client to a swimming class in Chelmsford, once a week
This is a 25 - 31 hours a week (20 hours guarantee till contract end )

To provide high standards of support to service users in the community, including assistance with, escorting, prompting and engaging with client
Support client with life skills training
To be reliable, punctual and excellent duty of care
Previous support experience is preferred
DBS on the update service
