Support Workers provide a vital part in providing the people we support with the care and ability to improve their quality of life.

Essential Care and Support are recruiting for a Full Time and Part Time Support Worker to join our Community Support Team to support adults with Mental Health conditions and Learning Disabilities.

We pride ourselves on our partnership working with the people we support, their families, and the local authority to ensure we deliver a quality service.

We have two contracts available:

Full Time which is 40 hours a week with a mixture of shifts on a 7 day rota.

Part Time which is 20 hour contract available.

The hours are Monday to Friday 8.15am – 10am 3pm-4pm and 7.15pm-8.30-pm

Saturday 9.30-3.30 and Sunday 10am-3 pm

Your role as a Support Worker will include:

- Providing 1-1 and group support sessions

- Creating engaging and creative ways to interact with the people you support

- Help with accessing the community and taking the people you support to their appointments.

- Set person-centred goals and agreeing on how to reach them

- Help with personal care when required

- Support the running of the home including the cooking and cleaning.
