Support Worker required in Hull and East Yorkshire for day centre for autism. £8.50 per hour
Your new company
You will be working for a day centre designed to meet the needs of young adults with learning disabilities and to help promote independence as well as emotional, social and physical well-being.
Your new role
This is a setting embedded with creativity promoting confidence, self-esteem and social development. You will be taking service users out on activities, where you will be expected to provide a stimulating experience.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll need to be motivated and passionate about helping people whilst delivering support to service users. You must have the ability to work well with the team as well as be able to use initiative to act on your own.
A minimum of 6 months experience within the last 2 years is required and an NVQ L2/L3 would be advantageous but not essential. We must be able to obtain 2 recent and relevant references, to a satisfactory standard.
