We require flexible and experienced individuals who are dedicated to providing a high standard of care and professionalism.
support worker play a key role in supporting young adult with Learning disabilities and autism in mental health service. Depending on the individual role and setting, a support worker may assist with daily support. The position will involve interacting with client on a daily basis, assisting with personal care and suporting with lessons and activities, meeting their nutritional need, as well as supporting with accessing the local community.
Applicants must have some previous clinical experience (6 months minimum preferred)
Full training is offered and on-going regular support.
We offer competitive rates of pay starting from £9 per hour up to £12.00 following a successful completion of probationary. Enhancement pay for evening and weekend with mileage contribution for drivers.
Many part-time opportunities are also available.
Although care assistants may not need any specific qualifications, it is important that they pass a induction and a Criminal Records Bureau check. While employed in the health-care sector, it is possible to work towards a QCF in health or health and social care.
