Support Worker

£8.40 - £8.65 per hour

Doddinghurst, Brentwood

Are you a kind and friendly person who genuinely wants to work with people and support them to lead an active, enjoyable and independent life?

An excellent opportunity is available for you to join a leading learning disability service provider at our service in Doddinghurst, Brentwood.

We currently have 6 male individuals living at the service who really like to be out and about socialising, meeting new people and enjoying activities of their choice like swimming, trampolining, visits to London and some of the individuals like to attend college. The individuals need positive, patient and active people who can motivate them to find new opportunities and enjoy experiences in the community as well as helping people in their own home.

Experience is preferred but not essential as you will be given all the training you require.

If you have previously never worked within Care or have a background as a Care Worker, Healthcare Assistant, Care Assistant or Care Giver then we would love to hear from you. The role of a Support Worker is like a Care Worker, Healthcare Assistant, Care Assistant or Care Giver as your skills will be transferable for the role.

As well as a rewarding role we offer great rates of pay, an extensive training programme and personalised career path which can see you progress to a Team Coordinator starting on £8.80 per hour. Other benefits include:
