A fantastic locally run charity that support people with Learning disabilities, this service is part of a wider community that support people to live independent and happy lives. Based in Eastington just outside of Stonehouse, the site boasts beautiful country surroundings along with some fantastic amenities including wood workshops, textile workshops, arts and crafts along with a vegetable garden.
Your new role
This job is to work as a Support worker on a full time permanent basis, you will play a vital role in ensuring the residents of the community live the most successful happy life possible. You will help support with all manner of things including, helping service users access the community, personal care and promoting independence. The job is a full time post at 37.5 hours a week, working a variety of shifts including occasional weekend work.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have previous experience working with Learning disabilities or other complex needs, ideally within a residential or supported living environment, a passion for making a difference and a full driving licence.
