Our Client, a leading provider in care for children, young people and adults with special educational needs is looking to extend their team. They are looking for Support Workers, people with experience and also for people who are willing to undertake the training to become one. They are an Award winning company who invest in their staff and have excellent prospects.

They are a provider of Care for children, young people and adults with special educational needs and disabilities.

They provide a specialist learning and living environment for young people with Autistic Spectrum Conditions, Asperger’s Syndrome, anxiety and mental health conditions, resulting in communication and social difficulties that impact their lives.

The Role:

As a Support Worker, you will be helping individuals to live the lives. They are looking for candidates who are passionate in supporting young people to learn and prepare for the future. This may include practical skills, like cooking, cleaning and budgeting and supporting young people to manage their anxieties or social difficulties.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
•Support the maintenance of a safe, homely environment
•Understand and comply with regulatory standards
•Promote and encourage independence at all times
•Liaison with parents, guardians and colleagues

Qualifications:
•Level 3 Diploma HSC or equivalent (or working towards within 6 months)

Experience:
•Knowledge and experience of supporting age range
•Relevant knowledge or experience of special needs environment(s).
•Experience working within support/care roles with young people

Location: Cranborne, Dorset,

Salary: £18,500- £20,500 per annum DOE

Hours: 42 hours per week (12 hour shifts over a shift pattern)
