One of the finest properties in Gloucester, Matson House, has been tastefully renovated to preserve the historic importance of its Grade II listed status.

In the grounds of Matson House is Edward House, an outstanding single-storey, purpose-built facility opened in September 2002.

Jasper Lodge is a 2007 conversion of a historic coach-house on the Matson House site. It provides six one-bedded properties and three self-contained flats and is designed for clients who may not be suited to our multi-occupancy homes.

  • SAYE Scheme Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To participate in the day-to-day implementation of individual support plans and activities within a challenging environment

  • To support service users with personal care.

  • To maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families and other whilst respecting appropriate confidentiality

  • To support service users with the preparation of meals, laundry duties, cleaning

  • To support service users to take part in activities on site and out in the community

  • To maintain accurate notes and records as and when required

  • To work as part of a team to provide high quality care.

***In return for your hard work you will have the opportunity to be a part of our Staff Bonus Incentive Scheme, paid quarterly***

The successful candidate will have:

  • NVQ in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards

  • Good spoken English and basic literacy and numerical skills

  • Experience in supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities and/or mental health issues, but not essential

  • The ability to keep calm under pressure

  • We require you to be flexible as you are required to work shifts including bank holidays, weekends.

  • Confidence to work alone and as part of a team

  • Excellent communication skills

  • A passion to work with vulnerable Adults

  • The desire and commitment to achieve high standards of safeguarding
