Support Worker needed for a supported housing organisation in Bristol for an ongoing temporary contract
Your new company
You will be working for a national supported housing provider.You will be joining an organisation who puts their tenants at the forefront of the service providing national support services to a variety of clients from homeless, mental health, domestic violence and substance misuse.
Your new role
You will be working as a support worker for an ongoing temporary contract. You will be working on a full time contract. As a support worker you will be providing support plans to service users who have got complex needs which may include mental health, domestic violence, homelessness and substance abuse. As a support plan you will supporting them to move on and promote independence. You will be carrying out a floating support service across the Bristol area, carrying out support plans, tenancy advice and housing management support. As a support worker you will respond to emergency and crisis situations by providing support, advice, signposting or direct interventions as necessary. As a support worker you will champion service user empowerment, encouraging the services on offer are accessible and relevant.
What you'll need to succeed
To be a successful support worker you must have working knowledge in supported housing and have working experience in domestic abuse support. To be a successful support worker you must have strong knowledge in support plans, be able to communicate with different backgrounds and be passionate about helping people. You must have access to a car and have a clean driving license.
