Your new company
Through Hays you'll be working for a local care provider who offers a range of supported services to children with challenging behaviour. You will be working with an established team committed to promoting independence. They are currently looking for experienced social care professionals to join their team. There will be various opportunities moving into the future including the provision of in house training to gain nationally recognised qualifications.
Your new role
As a support worker you will provide person centred care and support to children. You will engage service users in activities, promoting choice, independence and supporting the development of life skills. You will be part of a close and supportive team structure who are committed to deliver excellent care.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience supporting vulnerable children within the health and social care sector. Most importantly you need to be someone who has a "can do" attitude, who works on good initiative and be willing to work well as a team to deliver success for the children in your care. Preferably you will have attained the QCF Level 3 Working With Children and Young People qualification. Full training will be provided for a suitable candidate that displays the right personal attributes.
