Support Worker

About the role

Interserve Healthcare is a leading care provider who puts care at the heart of everything we do. We support a range of clients varying in age and care requirements which can include mental health, learning disabilities, physical disabilities and clients with more complex clinical needs.

We are currently recruiting Paediatric Healthcare Assistants To provide all aspects of care to our female client based in the Hodge hill Area. As a Paediatric Healthcare Assistant you’ll be providing all aspects of support including some clinical aspects for which you will receive full training.

You’ll be a "can-do" Healthcare Assistant who sees opportunities rather than barriers; you’ll be committed to supporting this client and his family whilst maintaining professional boundaries. You’ll be dedicated and reliable and ideally have some experience of similar work.

Shift Patterns will be as follows:

Monday- Friday 07:30-16:30

7 nights a week 22:00-08:00

Saturday and Sunday 10:00-15:00

We are looking for Healthcare Assistants who:

• Have 6 months previous care experience
• Have experience of working with clients with complex care needs (advantageous)
• Have excellent communication skills, written, verbal and listening
• Have a caring and compassionate attitude
