Support Worker - Supported Living/Learning Disabilities

Location: Reading

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £7.93 - £8.23 hr

Reports to: Lead Nurse

We are currently recruiting for the leading UK Christian charity that works with disabled people and local communities to achieve social inclusion, empowerment and justice and gives disabled and disadvantaged people real choice about how they live their lives.

Our care home is in a peaceful residential area of Reading and we provide services for adults with a learning disability and additional needs such as sensory impairment, and for those who sometimes express themselves through low levels of behaviour that can be challenging.

  • Be flexible and adaptable, with the ability to connect and establish relationship
  • Have knowledge health and safety in the workplace
  • Have the ability to interact and identify communication and language needs
