Support Worker

Vetro Recruitment are recruiting for a well established Children's Care provider, based in the North West.

The specific positions that I am recruiting for are for Support Worker's to join two of their homes located in St. Helen's, Rainford and Skelmersdale.

Successful applications will be required to work as a member of the team in the provision of care and support services for people with behaviours that may challenge; which aims to maximise the potential of individuals in line with ordinary life principles.

You will support and participate in young people's social, life-long learning plans and recreational activities in line with care plans, trips out and holidays.

You will act as a Key worker to specified individual young person, taking on responsibility for specified areas of care and support.

Both homes are between 3-4 beds for teenagers with emotional and behavioural difficulties

£7.95 p/h qualified (NVQ Level 3) and £7.70 p/h unqualified + £50 sleep.

Shift pattern is 1 on 2 off, usually 10-10. So you will work 10 days a month
