Support Worker needed in Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch to support adults with learning difficulties
Your new company
We are working with a number of residential homes in Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch which support adults with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour. They provide a stimulating setting where individuals can develop their skills and reach their full potential. As part of their expansion they are now looking for a Support Worker to join their established team.
Your new role
As a Support Worker you will be following care plans that are in place, assisting the service users with personal care and daily tasks. Other duties will include taking them out to the community and organised trips, as well as assisting with shopping. You will liaise with the management and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best care is given
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a good communicator, able to stay calm in challenging situations as some of these clients may present challenging behaviour. You will have a genuine passion for working with learning difficulties and previous experience in a similar setting.
