Our client is looking to recruit caring Support Workers, to work in a small residential home for adults with learning disabilities.
To work with our client, you won't necessarily need to have experience working with those with learning disabilities (although this would be ideal). You will need to be flexible, patient, caring, organised, good with people and eager to learn and develop. (That's because they will want you to work to gain your NVQs in Health & Social Care - or build on the ones you already have.)
As a Support Worker, you will need to be a team player, you can follow guidelines and policies easily, and will have good written skills, as you will need to write up care plans. Above all, you'll be committed to providing person-centered care that gives real equality of opportunity to all those you're working for.
As a support worker, you will be able to enjoy the following benefits: -
- Double pay on Bank Holidays.
- Eye care vouchers for regular computer users (dependent on position)
- Life assurance equal to three times your basic salary. One-off training payments for completing relevant qualifications
- Long service awards.
- One-off bonus payments for outstanding work.
If you are successful and have a current DBS that is on the update service, we will be able to start you in the role as soon as possible
Please feel free to contact Becky at Oakley for furher information on .
The successful candidate's offer will be subject to satisfactory reference and a satisfactory DBS check
