RESIDENTIAL SUPPORT WORKERS required within the Yorkarea with competitive rates and flexible hours to suit. 6-12 months care experience is essential.

To work within a specialist neurobehavioral assessment and post acute rehabilitation hospital with people with a non-progressive acquired brain injury The role will require candidates with strong communication and relationship-building skills and will centre around promoting independent living and encouraging clients to participate in activities. Experience of challenging behaviour is preferred but not essential providing the applicant has clear communication and is confident setting boundaries. Personal Care may be a part of the role, based on the physical dependence of each client so candidates who are not willing to undertake this need not apply.

A variety of shift patterns are available with Mornings (8am-3pm), Afternoons (3pm-10pm) and Long Days (8am-10pm) often available, as well as some Sleep In requirements. Pay rates range from £9.00-£11.00 with Full-Time, Part-Time and Flexible hours available.

Successful candidates will require an enhanced DBS check, unless they already have one registered for the update service. The cost of a new DBS is to be met by the candidate, unless they hold an existing check registered on the update service, in which case there is no cost.
