Support Worker - Leeds

Hours - Days; 9am - 9pm Nights; 9pm - 7am

Pay Rate - £8.41 - £8.73 per hour

Are you a support worker seeking a new role? Do you have experience with Huntingtons disease? Pulse Community Healthcare has a great opportunity for support workers to join us in supporting our male client. Daily duties for the support worker would include personal care and assistance with medication. We are seeking support workers with a positive, outgoing personality to encourage our clients independence as well as interact with our clients many hobbies.

The ideal support worker will have:

  • A diploma level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is preferred but not essential
  • UK paid experience in Health and Social Care
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to use own initiative and work as part of wider team
  • A good understanding of professional boundaries
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and person centred care
