Your new company
Our client is situated on the outskirts of Bournemouth, they provide Specialist Educational Care & Support for Vulnerable Children & Young Adults between the ages of 6 years - 25 years. Based close to the New Forest the children here benefit from large 50 acre grounds with climbing frames, swings, apple trees, a swimming pool & wooded areas which make this a fun, energetic & exciting place to work.
Your new role
As a Support Worker you will provide outstanding care & support for vulnerable children & young adults. You will be working 40 hours per week, with either morning or evening shift patterns. The work is challenging but highly rewarding as you will be making a positive impact on a young person's life. Previous experience is not essential for this role, as the client will enrol you on to a 5 days 'off the job' induction training programme with ongoing support to obtain a QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed as a Support Worker, you will need be energetic & ready to join in with all activities, you will have a caring mentality, & strong communication skills (as some of the children need non-verbal communication & support). A Driving Licence with access to a car is preferred, as the site is not situated close to a regular public transport route. Previous experience is not essential as training will be given.
