Support worker

We are looking for a highly driven individual with experience of working with vulnerable youths and is keen to make a difference with challenging pupils. You will actively take on a support role to enable pupils to develop holistically. You will facilitate their personal, social and educational development to enable them to reach their full potential in society. This role is located in and around the Caerphilly area.

This role would be perfect for a Youth Worker or someone with similar experience wanting to make a difference to the lives of young people. Someone who has a real passion for working with challenging students.

If you have had experience of working with vulnerable youths and you have the ability to 'think outside the box' by incorporating creative ways of support and learning into a specialised educational environment Empowering Learning would like to hear from you.

Key Job Requirements

*Experience working with vulnerable young adults.

*A genuine passion for working with pupils with additional learning needs.

*Highly driven.

*Attentive and Empathic Listener.

*Behaviour management. (Team teach qualification would be advantageous.)

*Available 5 days per week between the hours of 8am - 4pm.

*Full driving licence with access to car.

*EWC Registered. (We can support you with this if you have not yet registered.)

*Holds a DBS on the update service. (We can support you with a new DBS application if needed.)
