Newcross Healthcare are continuing to expand and grow as a company who provide high quality assistance to our service users in line with our Philosophy of Care. Due to this period of growth we are looking to recruit experienced and dedicated Support Worker to join our Chester branch working in Chester, Ellesmere Port, Deeside and the wider Cheshire area.

The Position

Joining Newcross in a Support Worker position means that you understand the importance of a person centred approach to care. With a natural ability to put each person's needs at the centre of all you do, you will provide compassionate care in a professional manner at all times.

Providing great care is so much more than a set of actions, it's about empowering each individual to live their life to the best of their abilities.

You will be supporting service users with a variety of different healthcare requirements, each with a personalised care plan suited to their individual needs. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting clients with learning disabilities, Autism and mental health conditions.

The Requirements

You will need to have experience supporting clients with learning disabilities, Autism and mental health conditions.

To be considered for this care assistant position, you will need the right to live and work in the UK, recent paid experience working in a UK care environment and at least 2 referee contract details, including a manager who can comment on your clinical ability.

You'll also need a certificate confirming your participation in a practical moving and handling course in the last 12 months, or be willing to book onto a Newcross course.

The Local Branch

Your local branch is based in Chester - you can find us at 17 - 19 Boughton, just off of the A51. We are easily accessible by both car and public transport, being just a 7 minute walk from Chester train station and a few minutes from the Grosvenor precinct.

Our Chester branch covers the wider Cheshire area and parts of Northern Wales, from Holywell and Wrexham, to Crewe and Northwich.
