Ashcroft is a leading provider of services to support people with learning disabilities and associated challenging behaviour. The Support Worker’s role is to support the people at our Residential Services and in the Community through person centred approaches to reach their full potential.
Duties will include:
Effectively support in a fully person-centred manner in the Service - e.g. with personal care, attending medical appointments where required, supporting person centred activities in the Services and at external events/venues.
Completion of good quality daily documentation.
Complying with all company practices, policies and procedures.
Experience is not required as full training is provided however potential candidates will need to:
Be patient, and possess empathy and compassion
Have excellent communication skills
Undergo a DBS check
Provide satisfactory references
