Duties will include (but not limited to):

* To provide a practical and emotional support service to service users with Autism and Mental Health needs within a residential home

* Assist service users in their day to day tasks with their active scheduled timetable

* Support with budgeting advice and getting into employment

* Contribute to the care and wellbeing of service users (in line with CQC)

* Key work with service users and maintain all relevant and appropriate records

* Assist service users to develop independent living skills in line with their care plans

* Encourage community participation

* Monitor health, safety and security, in line with legislation

* Liaise with external agencies and ensure the correct support networks are in place

* Ensure good working relationships with parents, family and other professionals

**The successful candidate must have experience providing support to service users**
