Our inspiring and award-winning Children’s Services are expanding on a nationwide basis - we are therefore looking to grow our team of person-centred and empowering employees even further at our short breaks service in Shawbirch. The Children’s Division within CareTech provides residential care, fostering and supported accommodation to some of the most inspirational Young People across the UK. The commitment, passion and support of our current staff teams speaks for itself; with an endless number of success stories of how we have supported a Young Person to live their life to the full and go on to succeed to their full potential.

At our Shawbirch based short breaks service, we specialise in supporting amazing young people with learning and physical disabilities. We are seeking a Waking Night Support Worker with a positive and person-centred demeanor to work alongside our children; this position involves a lot of resonsibility but you will reap the rewards within our outstanding respite service.

We have over 60 Children’s Services across the UK, and are now looking to expand further within our division. No care experience is necessary to us; however you must be able to demonstrate your commitment and passion to supporting our Young People and be willing to work towards care qualifications. In this type of role, no day is the same - one day you might be painting a murial or doing maths homework, the next you might be knee-deep in mud after helping a Young Person gardening and using your culinary skills to prepare a nutritious meal. We are looking for caring, empowering and friendly individuals who can really make a difference to our inspiring Young People.

Every Young Person in our care is treated as an individual; we are seeking Support Workers who are adaptable, able to work under pressure and can work flexibly.
