-Previous experience in care is desirable.
-Understanding of Learning Disability and knowledge of Policies and Legislation as per the job description, candidate would need to demonstrate this at the interview stage.
-Full training will be provided.
-Career path: They will be able to progress to Team Leader and Project Manager role in the future.
-To support service users with their daily lives, taking part in the local community groups.
-Each house has 3 service users living there; their age ranges from 21-65. They all have learning disabilities, moderate to mild autism, Down syndrome, Williams' syndrome and general learning disabilities. There is one service user who is registered blind and two that are non-verbal
-The service mirrors most other supported living services in this area, however no personal care is completed.
-The main responsibility is supporting service users with daily living skills. There are no service users with severe challenging behaviours. All support plans document service users' needs.
