REED are actively recruiting support workers in the Rotherham area to work in supported living for children with learning disabilities. The supported living offers respite care for children and is focused on the children getting the most out of their short stay.
This is a temporary but ongoing role and offers flexible shifts to suit you and your lifestyle.
Following individual care plans - highlighting the needs of each child.
Developing positive relationships with the children.
Meeting the needs of all children.
Making the home a fun and welcoming place to be.
All applicants will be required to have Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care, plus Team Teach training.

As per client request, you must have at least 6 months of care and support work experience. You must also be able to provide the previous 5 years of work references, with at least 2 of them care related.
Due to the nature of the role you will need to submit a DBS check, and if you aren't signed up for the Update Service, this will incur a cost of £44 (refundable after 100 hours worked). You will also have to attend 2 days of mandatory company training.
