Do you want to make a positive difference to people's lives?
We are looking to recruit two positive individuals to join our hard working team in St Ann's where we currently support 8 adults with a learning disability who live in their own flats. We currently have two part time positions available, offering up to 20 hours a week.
The individuals need support with their medication, personal care, finances and daily living tasks such as, cooking and cleaning. You will be required to update support plans and assist with paying their bills and budget planning.
As a support worker, flexibility is key for both yourself and for the service, as you may be required to work a variety of different shifts throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons and evenings. You will also be required to do Sleep-ins. We provide an out of hours on call, so you will be required to help out with this when needed.
For further details of the people you will be supporting, please click on the "additional information" attachments at the bottom of this advertisement.
One of the most amazing things about being a Support Worker is that anyone can do it, no experience is required! As long as you have a positive attitude and want to improve the lives of those with a learning disability, we will support you with progression opportunities throughout your career with us.
An enhanced DBS will be required for each successful candidate (Paid for by Mencap, T&Cs apply)
