Elite Recruitment are currently recruiting for A permanent support worker to start as soon as possible. Our client is a leading UK Christian charity that works with disabled people and local communities to achieve social inclusion, empowerment and justice. This service provides disabled and disadvantaged people with real choices about how they live their life. Our client is a registered care home that supports 3 adults with learning disabilities.
The main Purpose of this role is to help people to live an independent life, supporting them with personal care needs, participating in community activities and having an ability to work in a person -centred way. We require people to help develop risk assessments that are reviewed and updated regularly. This role includes some lone working, having to be flexible with shift patterns and sleep-ins.
The ideal candidate will have a caring and compassionate nature, with a real desire to help others. We require somebody with the ability to recognize and reduce barriers in communication. Successful candidates will need to have knowledge of Person Centred Plans.
