Support Worker - weekends & nights Calling all Support Workers! We have a variety of shifts available to work at a children's residential home in Barton.
Your new company
Hays Social Care are looking for experienced Support Workers to work evenings 14.30 -21.30, weekends 9.45am-9.45pm and night shifts 10.00pm - 9am at a children's residential home in Barton. You will be providing 1:2:1 and 2:2:1 care to vulnerable children.
Your new role
As part of the Hays Social Care Team you will receive weekly pay and the opportunity to work at a variety of different care settings within the area. Part of your duties will include; supporting young individuals, supporting with personal care, dealing with challenging behaviour, along with general domestic duties.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be working with children that have very individual needs and support plans that reflect this. Experience working in a children's setting is advantageous and/ or hold a NVQ L2/ L3 in Health and Social Care. Other training and experience is a bonus- First Aid, NAPPI, MAPPA, verbal de-escalation techniques and understanding autism etc. Ability to drive will be advantageous.
