Support Worker - Nights (Contract)

Westward Housing Group, a leading affordable housing provider, offers outstanding initiatives that help hundreds of people across the South West. We are now looking for a Support Worker to join us on a fixed-term contract until the 31st March 2019.

As a Support Worker, you will help to provide an accessible safe space, street outreach and resettlement service for people who are street homeless.
Working from the Leonard Stocks Centre, you will work with our service users to develop housing plans and identify what is needed to help them find and stay in accommodation.
You’ll help to create a supportive environment where service users are enabled to live independently and recover meaning, purpose, choice and control in their lives.
Interested? To be considered, you’ll need:
- Paid or voluntary experience in a supported housing, community or social work role
- Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Outlook Calendar and Excel
Adaptable and flexible, as a Support Worker, you’ll have great interpersonal and communication skills. You’ll also be a strong multi-tasker with the ability to work on your own initiative.
This is a full time role, working 37.5 hours per week, 22:00 - 8:00 on a shift pattern of four nights on and four nights off. You’ll be required to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
