Experienced Adult Support Workers Needed for Bank Work in the Wirral
Your new company
I am currently working with a number of care providers who are looking for agency support workers for weekend shifts. Shifts vary from days, long days, evenings and waking nights. You will be working for Hays on a bank basis which is perfect if you have commitments already and you are looking for some extra hours to work around this.
Your new role
You will be working in a variety of settings such as LD, Autism, Elderly/Dementia, Mental Health, Adults and Young People. You will be expected to support service users to live the best life that they can whilst always promoting independence where possible. You will provide the best and most professional personal care as and when needed. You will also be required to do the usual duties of a support worker such as cooking, tidying, cleaning, laundry etc. If required, you will take service users out into the community for activities such as swimming and for any appointments that they have.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need an absolute minimum of 6 months experience within the last 2 years. Without this, your application cannot be processed. You will need experience of working within residential and supported living settings as well as be able to work a range of shifts such as days/nights/sleeps. You will preferably drive or be able to travel flexibly on public transport.
