Cardea Healthcare is a specialist healthcare recruitment agency providing home care, residential and supported living. We are currently recruiting for a support worker in assisted living. The position is working with Adults with a wide range of mental & learning disabilities who need assisted living to lead their own lives without restrictions.
Main duties and responsibilities:
As a supported living worker, you will need to encourage the client to do everything that is needed for themselves with a strong personality to ensure that they are completing the tasks without your assistance.
You will be a strong, resilient character who is supportive and accepting of how the client lives their lives.
You will be able to build a bond with the client as their main support worker.
The candidate must have the following:
At least 6 months care experience
Have a Driving Licence and access to their own Vehicle.
Ideally an up to Date DBS.
Needed for the role:
All mandatory training that we have supplied to be completed.
Challenging behaviour training that is supplied.
The role involves flexible working hours and you may be asked to work evening shifts and weekends.
