Venn Group Social and Housing Recruitment Team are currently recruiting for a Deputy Manager for our Supported Housing client based in Dorset to begin interim employment within their expanding team

Location: Dorset
Contract Type: 3 Months
Hours: 35 - 40 pw - shift work and weekend cover occasionally

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the day to day management of a large Supported Housing Service
  • Managing a team of up to 3 staff including appraisals and one to ones
  • Overseeing and ensuring effective support plans are in place and being adhered to
  • Ensure that the services and staff adhere to health and safety policies and procedures
  • Provided advice and guidance on strategic and operational improvement of service
  • Ensure that all safe guarding procedures are being enforced
  • Promote a culture of continual improvement and person centred support within the service and updating action plans
  • Handle rent accounts and compose payment plans to prevent arears


Essential Skills:

  • A current enhanced DBS issued within the past six months


Desirable Skills:

  • Basic IT skills
