We are currently recruiting for a Support Services Accountant on behalf of our Oil and Gas client. This is a contract role initially until the end of the year based in Aberdeen.
This role is responsible for the provision of Financial Support to the Aberdeen Support Functions (Enterprise Supply Chain Solutions (ESCS), HSE&A, IT) ensuring a financially controlled environment.
Responsible primarily for Logistics and the integrity of associated account balances, their timely analysis and reconciliation.
Responsible for the monitoring and reporting on Logistic expenditure balances
Responsible for maintaining procedures for allocation of logistics costs aligned to what is generally considered good practice in the industry.
Responsible for undertaking Allocation of Logistics Costs - PSV Pool, Helicopter Pool, Shore base
Ensuring Logistics is governed within a financially controlled environment
Coordinate and support the creation of all budgets involving ESCS Logistics.
Liaise with Logistics Team members to produce combined monthly Logistics KPI report
Preparation and Issuance of Logistics Monthly Management Reports, Outlooks and Accrual information.
Preparation of any 3rd Party Invoices for any shared services
There is an opportunity to develop the use of systems to automate and improve for the processes and reports in this area.
Assist in the maintaining the Accounts Receivable Register for logistics related invoices.
Joint Venture and Contract Audit Support
Contracting process - assistance and review as required
Good Receipts/Invoice Receipts (GR/IR) account reconciliation, maintenance and clearing as required
Support for other Support Functions as direct by the Support Services Accounting Team Lead.
Provide cover for other team members
